When you get mud and stains on your shirt, where do you often run to? Well, the first household appliance that would most likely come to your mind would the washing machine. However, have you ever imagined the slight possibility of things turning around and this usually reliable piece of equipment would put germ-contaminated dirt into your clothes instead? This is not an impossible occurrence. In fact, this has probably been happening to you without you even noticing it. With this in mind, take a look at this guide on how to sanitise your device.
To start off, make sure that you have a complete set of cleaning tools; including non-toxic spray cleaners, pieces of cloth, hot water, lime, and white vinegar. Next, take out all the removable parts of the device and thoroughly clean those parts with the spray and wipe them with cloth. After which, check the machine thoroughly and be sure that every component is thoroughly inspected. Finally, fill the equipment with hot water. Add lime to the water if the machine has rust and white vinegar if it has an odour, and then run it for several cycles.
